Online Seminars Share Impact of Guild Projects

Tuesday September 6 2022

Past and present project partners of the Church of Scotland Guild will share the fruits of the partnerships during this year’s Guild Week.

This year’s Guild Week runs from September 11-18, and activities have been suggested for each day, based on next year’s Guild theme of ‘Wee seeds, big trees’.

As part of the week, two online seminars will examine the impact of the Guild’s project work. In the first, on Tuesday September 13 at 7pm, former partners will talk about the lasting difference being a Guild project has made. Register here.

In the second, on Thursday September 15 at 7pm, the six current project partners – The Vine Trust, Beat, Home for Good, Pioneers, UNIDA and Starchild – will share their hopes for what the partnership will mean in the years ahead. Register here.

For the final day of Guild Week, Sunday September 18, the national Guild office has produced a dedication service for Guilds that wish to take their church’s Sunday services.

Some tickets have also become available for the Guild Annual Gathering in Edinburgh on Saturday September 10: contact guild@churchofscotland.org.uk for details. The event will also be available to watch online on the Church of Scotland website.
