Freuchie Parish Church in Fife celebrated the arrival of a new organ with a celebration service, featuring all of the congregation’s favourite hymns. The organ corner was decorated by the children of the church to welcome the instrument to its new home.

The Rev Ian Hamilton and organist Sandy Falconer are pictured at the new organ with Ailsa and Rhona.

Two elders from Ardoch Parish Church, Perth and Kinross, have received long service certificates. From left: the Rev Mairi Perkins, minister; James Dawson (60 years’ service), James Lawrie (45 years) and the Rev Donna Hays, Moderator of the Presbytery of Perth.

Portpatrick Guild, Dumfries and Galloway, have produced a calendar of local scenes for 2024. Anyone wishing to purchase one, at £6 plus £2 postage, can contact Fiona Maxwell on maxwellf@supanet.com or 01776 704045
