Walk In The Footsteps of Jesus for Charity

                                                                                                                        Tuesday August 8 2023

WALKERS will have a rare opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Jesus in two fundraising walks in Galilee next year.

Registrations are now open to join the Jesus Trail in 2024. The pilgrim walks are organised by the Nazareth Trust, one of the largest Christian charities in Scotland.

The charity has run a hospital in Jesus’ hometown since 1861 and has run pilgrim walks across Galilee since 2014, supporting a different cause each year.

The five-day route retraces Jesus’ footsteps, following many of the significant places from his life, beginning in Zippori and ending in Capernaum.

Next year’s walks will take place from March 17 to 23 (supporting the Nazareth Hospital’s Pastoral Care Development Needs) and from November 3 to 9 (funding scholarships for students at the Nazareth Academic School of Nursing).

Places on the walks are limited and pilgrims are urged to sign up as soon as possible by email at events@nazarethtrust.org
