Order Early, Warns Real Easter Egg Maker

Wednesday January 24 2024

The makers of the Real Easter Egg have reminded customers to get their orders in early for this year’s Easter.

Easter Day 2024 falls on March 31, and the Meaningful Chocolate Company, which makes the Real Easter Egg, is asking customers to get their orders in by the first week of March.

In a letter to supporters, founder David Marshall says: “Last year, 1,300 people ordered from us in late March. This year, late March is past our Easter deadlines. So if you are collecting orders make sure you get them in by March 5, and if you are able to order earlier please do.”

The Real Easter Egg was developed to meet the need for an Easter Egg that explains the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. This year there are five types available, all with new content. Each egg has an edition of the Easter story included, all the chocolate is fairtrade and palm oil free, and most of the products are plastic free. As ever, you can buy singly or by the case, and you can also sponsor a palette to go to a local foodbank.
