The Presbytery of Perth marked the new union of Carnoustie: Trinity Church of Scotland, formed from the congregations of Barry Parish Church, Carnoustie Church, and Carnoustie: Panbride Church.

The new team ministry of the Rev Annette Gordon and the Rev Mike Goss was also introduced. Annette was ordained and inducted to Carnoustie: Panbride in 2017, and Mike was inducted to Barry linked with Carnoustie in 2003.

Presbytery Clerk, the Rev Dr John Ferguson, said: “It was an uplifting service to mark a new beginning in the life of the Church of Scotland in Carnoustie and the surrounding area.”

Twelve members of the congregation at Carnock and Oakley Parish Church in Fife received certificates for service exceeding 30 years, from locum minister, the Rev Elizabeth Kenny, at a special service held at Oakley Church on Sunday February 18.
