Christian students from Bethlehem will join in Christian Aid’s latest online vigil for peace in the Middle East, this Sunday (March 24).
As this month’s vigil falls on Palm Sunday, it will take the form of a reflection based on a Church of Scotland resource, the Stations of the Cross in Time of War in Gaza. This is a new set of prayers alongside scripture readings and woodcuts by Margaret Adams Parker, based on the ancient Christian devotion in which pilgrims retrace the steps of Jesus.
The resource is available for individual, small group or congregational use from https://www.churchofscotland.org.uk/worship/prayers/prayers-for-peace-in-israel-palestine
The Christian Aid vigil, at 7pm, will include praise, prayers and readings in Arabic and English. For more information and to find the event link, visit caid.org.uk/AOA
