Art Show for Christian Aid

                                                                                                                                                                                                       Tuesday April 3 2024

A fundraising art show by churches in Glasgow to raise funds for Christian Aid Scotland takes place this Friday.

The exhibition of paintings takes place in Clarkston Halls, Glasgow from 7.30pm to 9pm on Friday (April 5) and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday April 6.

Over 200 paintings are available for purchase with a third of sales donated directly to Christian Aid. The churches involved in the event include Williamwood, Greenbank, Busby, St Aidan’s Episcopal and Netherlee/Stamperland Church.

The charity is also encouraging walkers to raise funds by taking part in this year’s four Kiltwalks.

The event in Glasgow has already sold out, but places on walks in Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh between June and September are still available. Walkers can choose to walk a short or long distance and those taking part last year raised more than £24,000 for Christian Aid.
