The Centre for Ministry Studies at Aberdeen University was officially launched last week when it welcomed N T Wright, Research Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity from St Andrews University, to Aberdeen.
Professor Wright led a seminar for staff and students in the afternoon and gave a public lecture in the evening to an audience of more than 150 people who had come to hear him speak about his most recent publication, Paul and the Faithfulness of God.
Meanwhile, preparations continue at the Centre for the new term that begins in September with a number of courses and programmes, and a calendar of events and conferences that includes an Advent Worship conference led by the Rev Dr David Sinclair on Saturday 1 November in Aberdeen, and a Retreat that will be led by David and Maggie Lunan at The Bield from 6-8 January 2015.
Further information about these events and other activities organised by the Centre for Ministry Studies can be found on its website, www.abdn.ac.uk/sdhp/centreministrystudies. For regular updates of courses and events, contact the Centre’s administrator, Clare Davidson, at clare.davidson@abdn.ac.uk
