Churches are being asked by WaterAid to think of the millions of people in the world without safe water as they plan their Harvest Festival fundraising this year.

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu is endorsing WaterAid’s Harvest Appeal 2014. WaterAid has put together a Harvest resource pack including a ready-written slideshow presentation, a video about how the funds raised will be spent, Sunday school resources, a poster, sermon notes and donation envelopes.

All money raised from the Harvest Appeal will go towards helping to provide clean water and sanitation to some of the world’s poorest people in Ethiopia and around the world. WaterAid can offer free speakers who can visit churches to explain how their support can transform people’s lives.

To order a Harvest Pack or for more information about the Harvest Appeal please call 020 7793 4594 or visit www.wateraid.org/harvest
