Journal Focuses on Church in Scotland

Wednesday September 24 2014

Several prominent Church of Scotland figures are among the contributors to a journal focusing on the Church in Scotland.

In advance of the independence referendum, a special issue of the International Journal for the Study of the Christian Church was released. Entitled ‘Perspectives on the Church in Scotland’, it includes contributions from:

  • The Rev Prof David Fergusson, Principal of New College at the University of Edinburgh, on the influence of Germany on Scottish theology;
  • The Rev Dr Ian Bradley, Principal of St Mary’s College, St Andrews, on the Church of Scotland and the Monarchy;
  • The Very Rev Sheilagh Kesting, the Church of Scotland’s Ecumenical Officer, on ecumenism in Scotland.

Further details on the Journal are available on its website.
