Deaf Worship Conference

Wednesday January 14 2015

A half-day conference on how to improve worship for people who are deaf or hard of hearing is to be held in Motherwell in March.

Entitled 'Reach Out and Listen', the seminar is a chance for people with hearing difficulties to discuss with worship leaders how their experiences could be improved.

Speakers will include the Rev Rosie Addis and the Rev Richard Durno, who are both involved in leading worship for deaf people in the Church of Scotland; and the Rev Derek Hughes, minister of Dalziel St Andrews Church, Motherwell, where the the conference will be held.

The event is on Saturday March 7 from 10am-1pm at Dalziel St Andrews and is free, although to help with catering arrangements organisers request that you let them know if you are planning to attend. Contact office@dsta.org.uk or 01698 264097 for details or to register your interest.
