The latest stories submitted by churches

Peggy Moore (front, centre) this year celebrates 70 years singing in the choir of Howwood Parish Church, Renfrewshire. On May 31, she was given a bouquet of flowers and a big thanks from the congregation. Peggy is pictured with the rest of the choir.

On Palm Sunday, eight elders of Wellington Church, Glasgow, were presented with long-service certificates by the Rev Dr David Sinclair with grateful thanks for the many years they have supported Wellington in many different ways.

Two other Elders, Alasdair Aitken and Lindsay Cook, were presented with their certificates separately.
