Leading worship songwriter Stuart Townend will appear at several churches in Scotland later this month.
Stuart is the composer of In Christ Alone, How Deep the Father’s Love and Beautiful Saviour, among many others. He tours and leads worship at events around the UK and abroad. He has eight solo albums to his name, as well as featuring on numerous live albums.
As part of his Family and Friends Tour, Stuart and his band will visit churches in East Kilbride, Kilsyth, two nights in Inverness (one of which is sold out), Stirling and Glasgow.
The Family and Friends concerts are a mixture of worship and performance, with Stuart talking about some of the songs and how they came to be written. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, but worshipful and participative with a mixture of new and familiar songs.
