Guild 'Big Sing' in Dunfermline Abbey

The Church of Scotland Guild is to celebrate Guild Week with a ‘Big Sing’ in Dunfermline.

Guild Week takes place from November 15-22, with the aim of inspiring local Guilds to promote the work of the organisation, both within the community and further afield. Many Guilds lead worship in their church on one of the Sundays.

The Big Sing, on Friday November 20 at 2pm, will feature hymns and praise songs, old and new, in the historic surroundings of Dunfermline Abbey.

The Guild is currently preparing for its Annual Gathering (the new name for the Annual meeting). 2000 representatives from Guilds across Scotland will gather at Dundee’s Caird Hall this Saturday. The event will be webcast for anyone who is unable to be there.
