Good Money Week Conference

Monday September 7

A conference will be held in Edinburgh next month to help people consider how they and the Church use their money.

Organised by the Church of Scotland's Science, Religion and Technology Project, the Money for Positive Change conference will explore how faith, values and finances interact.

It is timed to coincide with Good Money Week, an annual campaign to promote sustainable and ethical finance.

The conference will be chaired by the Rev Sally Foster Fulton, Convener of the Church and Society Council, and features an address from Tessa Tennant, Green Investment Pioneer. Workshop topics will include financial capability skills for young people, divestment and Community Shares Scotland.

The event takes place on Saturday October 3 from 9.30am-1.30pm in St Andrew's and St George's West Church. Entry is free and will include a buffet lunch.

“This sounds like a very interesting day and I would have liked to be there. Alas that date in my diary has been filled for some months now. I will look out for more like this.

Jim Smith.”
