A special service will be held in Glasgow next month to reflect on the refugee crisis.
The ‘service of worship and prayer’ is being jointly held by Glasgow City Mission and Tearfund Scotland.
It will ask how the church in Glasgow can respond to the needs of refugees, both locally and globally.
It takes place in St George’s Tron Church of Scotland on Buchanan Street on Sunday November 15, starting at 7pm.
Glasgow City Mission, the oldest of its kind in the world, has reported a huge increase in demand for its services from refugees this year. Tearfund provides help for refugees and people affected by conflict all over the world.
