Cakes, Bakes and Faith

Friday September 16

Great British Bake-off star Martha Collison is appearing at two events for Tearfund Scotland next month.

The youngest ever contestant on the show is an ambassador for Tearfund and a 'Cakes, Bakes and Faith' show in Glasgow in July sold out.

Her return to Scotland comes in advance of the charity's Big Bake week (October 8-16), which is encouraging supporters to arrange fundraising bake sales.

The evenings - at Glasgow's Queen's Park Baptist Church on October 5, and St Paul's and St George's in Edinburgh on October 6 -  are a chance to meet Martha and watch her bake, as well as to hear stories of the work carried out by Tearfund's partners around the world.

Tickets are free but most be booked at Eventbrite.
