Young Adults and the Eldership Conference

Tuesday July 2 2013

Young people who are Elders, or thinking of becoming Elders, in the Church of Scotland are being given an opportunity to get together over a weekend in September.

The pilot 'Young Adults and the Eldership' conference is taking place alongside a Session Clerks' conference from September 6-8 at the Scottish Police College in Tulliallan.

Those who attend will have the chance to meet other young Elders, explore what being an Elder in the Church of Scotland means, reflect on the specific challenges of being a young Elder and help shape the future of Eldership and future training.

The event is open to anyone aged 18-30. The cost is £50 (£30 for people from urban priority area churches).
