A team of male bakers from Dunfermline Abbey have raised more than £400 for charity.
A team of men, both young and old, sprang into action and baked up an array of mouth-watering goodies for the Great Abbey Men’s Bake Off (GAMBO) which was quickly snapped up by the congregation after worship on Sunday April 30.
The team raised a total of £456 which will be split between Scottish Love in Action, a charity to help children in India and the House of Grace, a rehabilitation project in Israel.
Eleven office-bearers at Edinburgh Craigmillar Park Church were presented with long service certificates at a special service on May 7.

A Hat Trick of Conveners: the past National Convener of the Church of Scotland Guild, Linda Young, was the guest speaker at Dumbarton Presbyterial Council’s Summer Rally in Helensburgh Parish Church. She is pictured with the presbyterial council’s retiring and incoming conveners, Mhairi Clark and Celia Massicks.
The Rev David Albon, minister of Mauchline Parish Church in the Presbytery of Ayr, presented long service certificates to Jean Weir, Life and Work coordinator for almost 40 years as well as an elder; and Bob Barbour, who has been an elder for 58 years.
